The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。主人公・蛍（大友花恋）は、中学時代から片思いの相手である大高蓮（甲斐翔真）と親友の山本栞（喜多乃愛）と共に、修学旅行の途中バスの交通事故に遭い命を落としてしまう。幽霊となった蛍の前に現れたのは、死者の案内人・クロ（小関裕太）。この世に残した未練を3つ解消しなければ、成仏できないと告げる。蛍は、未練のひとつが5年間片想いしている蓮に告白することだと気づいていた。だが、蓮を前にしてどうしても想いを伝えられない・・・。蛍の決心の先にあった秘密とは？予想外のラストに、温かい涙が流れる―。。
