The scientist...。在野味餐馆上班的废柴经理丁小丁，遇到野蛮客人要求杀掉自己心爱的鹦鹉给客人做菜吃。意外认识了狐仙少女林草莓，并帮助他躲避赏金部队的凶残追捕。狐仙长老决定报复人类要求林草莓抓丁小丁做人体实验，任务失败林草莓则难逃一劫。但二人却暗生情愫，林草莓决定放弃抓丁小丁决定黯然离去。不知情的丁小丁准备拯救人类，拯救爱情。不料危险却向二人悄然逼近……。這是一部關於台客兄弟情的紀錄片，也是一則關於人生如何成長、如何失落、如何面對自我的紀錄片。在橫跨十年的拍攝時間裡，導演以戲謔、黑色幽默的方式描述每位主角不同的際遇，生命的厚度在影片裡悄悄地展現著。 導演黃信堯這麼說：「在拍攝他們的同時，我覺得也藉此找尋自我，不能說是人生的答案，而是人生的方向。」。
