8年前Yan进医院割盲肠时遇到了Joe（郑伊健 饰）与Jim（陈小春 饰）两位医生，都给她留下了深刻的印象，也是她决心成为医生的缘故，她更打算嫁给他们其中一个。当她进入他们所在的医院当医生的时候，发现Jim变成了一个市侩、没有责任心的医生，Joe更因为不满现今的医疗管制而不当医生了。Yan失望之余决定要把他们拉回原来的职位，继续做一个有责任感的医生，Yan的热诚确实使一众医护人员改变不少。。詹姆斯．高曼编剧的本片描述俄国最后一位沙皇尼古拉斯二世晚年的生平故事，从1904年开始描述至1918年俄国革命后他们全家被处决的经过。是一部气氛沉重的史诗式宫闱影片，故事有点单调沉闷。导演富兰克林．J．沙夫纳的手法比较庄重，出色的美术及服装设计使当年的俄宫景色得以在银幕上重现，迈克尔．杰斯顿等演员亦普遍出色，本片曾获最佳艺术指导、最佳服装设计两项金像奖。。A young woman rents a house in America's largest ghost town, Jerome, Arizona for a business trip, but soon discovers that the house is cursed and traps any woman who enters it.
