A young street magician is left to take care of his little sister after his mother's passing and turns to drug dealing in the Los Angeles party scene to keep a roof over their heads. When he gets into trouble with his supplier, his sister is kidnapped and he is forced to rely on both his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save her。药剂师仁丘（韩石圭 饰）有一份优厚的职业，是个名副其实的好男人。但因为有个精神迟钝的哥哥的原因，他的婚姻大事也被延后了。这时候设计师慧兰（金智秀 饰）搬到了仁丘的村子里住。美丽高贵的慧兰无心恋爱，却因为父亲欠下的债务，与债务人打交道的时候表现泼辣。 　　仁丘得知了前女友结婚的消息情绪低落，在药店里喝酒，与前来买安眠药的慧兰聊起天来。两个同是身处苦境的人一同喝着啤酒，渐渐对对方产生了好感。 　　他们的生活甜蜜，越来越热爱对方。但这时候仁丘的母亲的病逝了，照顾哥哥的责任落到了仁丘的身上，刚刚堕胎了的妹妹也说要回到哥哥仁丘身边。现实的残酷，又会否阻挡爱情的前进呢？。
