Juggling his marriage, his hard nut bully of a father-in-law and his wayward 25-year-old stepbro...。故事背景设在明治64年，并由德川庆喜掌握权力的另一个日本。国家靠能量源「龙脉」，形成江户和科学混合的独特发展。但繁华背后，反体制派组织「蛇」正酝酿革命之火。德川政府委任暗组织「鵺」将其驱除。女主角-雪村笑羽在幼时被灭门，于是她作为「鵺」的处刑人，为报仇而持续寻找蛇野目……。男主假死躲债全家隐瞒；女主支撑公司，伺候女二月子，却发现孩子是男主的，在医院被男主和小三气死。重生后女主回到男主假死时，决意复仇，他们接受应有的惩罚；女主盘活公司接受初恋追求。。
