一部分女性的皮肤竟然可以开出美丽的花朵，让人不可思议，而从花瓣成分中可以提炼出新药。制药公司因此特别建立了一座专门呵护花朵成长的设施“Shanidar”，给提供者以亿计算的报酬，新人职员响子（黑木华饰）和研究员大泷(绫野刚饰)等人一起照顾提供者。但是接受了花朵切除手术后身体发生异常现象的对象越来越多，入住这里的人发生异态……。日本东北地区的某座深山里，国中生小町在一间祭拜熊的神社中，担任巫女的重责大任。有一天，小町对监护人，也就是名为那津的熊说：“我想去念都市的高中。”为了能够让不经世事的小町，拥有在都市中生活的基本能力，那津展开了一连串的试炼，要求小町通过考验。。Henriette and Louise, a foundling, are raised together as sisters.
