Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。职场工作狂唐小小被部门同事排外被调任于另一部门，不仅如此还被男朋友通知分手。此后的唐小小上任新职却也没有多少改变，还是独立孤行。在工作失意的时候，获得了新同事兼天台好友张六一的帮助，唐小小能否改变自己的命运，在职场和自己的感情道路上能否一帆风顺的走下去呢？。
